This is the extent of my Halloween decorating that greeted Trick-or-Treaters tonight. Yes, that is a black light and a pumpkin that has a...well...pumpkin carved in it--you might call that metapumpknition!

Rachel has a proper last name. It is DeWitt. Therefore she is Props. I graced her with this nickname over a year ago and lo and behold, she dresses as Props the rapper for Halloween! Aside: I am Dr. Pepper.

Sandwich Mystery

These sandwiches were delivered by someone to my house today. I have no idea who gave them to me or why. I have eaten one and Louis has eaten one--neither of us has gotten sick! If you have any information on this case, please email my detective on the case, Encyclopedia Brown.

Nate's Birthday

For Nate's birthday we went out to Chatterbox. Here he is with his Kentucky Beer Cheese Pizza, which consists of: Kentucky Beer Cheese, cheddar, mozzarella, bacon, ham, onion rings, fried eggs, and pico de gallo. The only thing missing from this pizza is bluegrass!

100th Bet

What do all of these items have in common? They were all used in the 100th bet between Strong Arm and me at work! It involved rolling dice to determine what numbers to look at on a key fob, to determine how many shots with a dart gun and how many basketball shots we got. Then using a formula of the highest number hit on the target with the dart gun multiplied by the sum of the number of basketball shots made plus one, the winner was whoever had the highest total. We tied at first, but per the tiebreaker we redid the entire bet and Strong Arm won... sad day.

I achieved a life-long dream today when I got to ride a Segway! Shout out to Kyle and Alissa for being awesome on going on the Chicago Segway Tour with me! This picture is a little blurry, but it gives you the full effect, so I will segue into a more clear picture...

Tour de Fall

12 of us went on the first annual Tour de Fall (aka Fall Foliage Bike Tour) in Stillwater, MN. The 26.2-mile journey was both exhilarating and picturesque.

Lasik

This is my eye right after getting lasik. The clear circle in the middle of the iris (best seen on the left side of the eye) is where one of the lasers cut a hole to make a flap to expose my cornea. And for those of you wondering, although I do have less cornea now, it doesn't mean my jokes will be any less cornea!

On this day, exactly 17 months after my dad passed away, we planted this maple tree in honor of him at the Trout Lake Camps boat docks. Grow strong, tree.

Kayak Fishing

I went kayak fishing on the Mississippi today with Louis. Here is the only fish either of us caught the entire trip, but it was a beautiful day to kayak on the Mississip'! In fact, I could kayak forward and backward all day long! And because I couldn't choose between photos, here is a bonus pic:
