Moving Day

Helped Brandt and Steph move into their new house in the Grove today! It turns out that I help people move exactly once a year and it is always on the last weekend of March. (I'm not sure if you can view the previous link if you are not friends with a certain person...)

Fogo de Chao, Flaming Blues, and Shamrock Shakes

These are some of my favorite people. And I enjoy being around them even more when I get to gorge myself on delicious meat. And have a drink that is on fire. And slurp a shamrock shake. Let's just say the next day was full of borborygmus!

Snow Frolf

First frolf of the year! This is Jordan with the nice form at a course in Annandale. Of course, the baskets were not up, so we used posts as makeshift baskets. After the "speed round", it's safe to say that we conquered the course. Next stop: Sweden.

Robo Rally

What better way to start out the small group cabin weekend then an epic game of Robo Rally?? We are closing in on that first checkpoint (except for Emily). This game later inspired the song "Twonky" by Jordan Anderson and Emily Ralph.

Unfortunately, this bout of 500 ended in utter "D"isappointment: Track and I lost 3 games to 2. But we all won with the delicious brownies that were had by all. (Well done Allyn and Byron...)

Wednesday Nights at Grandpa and Grandma's

Having the usual Wednesday night dinner at Grandpa and Grandma's house! Burgers and sweet potatoes tonight. I yam always thankful for a delicious meal from them!

Starbucks Sawbuck

Early morning today (notice it is still dark). It required some Starbucks. Luckily I had a Starbucks Sawbuck giftcard. Nice!

4 Buckets of Balls

My friend (and director of Trout Lake Camps) James came from Pine River to hit some golf balls with me today at the golf dome. We had a little contest going: first one to hit that target you see in the background wins and the other person has to buy a shamrock shake for him. 4 buckets of balls later, we didn't hit it once. It was a bit deflating to our egos.

PS Today is Pi Day and I wore this awesome button all day.

Cold vs Flue

Since I am a cheapskate I keep my house at 65 degrees (Fahrenheit). I was getting cold and since the fireplace already had the flue, I decided to warm up the house the old-fashioned way!

Studyday Saturday

My Saturday was soa boring, but at least I got a lot of studying done!

It's back! The shamrock shake! Oh so delicious--the McDonalds sign lured me in. Or maybe it was Uncle O'Grimacey that lured me in!

Snow Mail is Good Mail

Just snowblowed the driveway today for perhaps the list time of this winter season? Juan can only hope! I'm not sure my mailbox can withstand any more snow piling, and that's snow way to treat my postal delivery person who has to lean out of the jeep to reach it!

Swingin'

Against my better judgment, I decided to go swing dancing. It was actually pretty fun. Thanks to Allyn for being my partner in this shot (and for letting me go in for the cuddle)!

I started the S.H.A.P.E. class tonight. I learned that I value challenging problems and friendships while I don't value change or power & authority. I'm excited to be in shape for the first time in my life!
